Description.
An insiders tour of Sydney with a two-wheeled, architectural twist.
Inspired by the structured looseness (or organised chaos) of the Situationist International and the vision of our gutsy Lord Mayor (bicycle lanes - wowo!) our two-wheeled convoy will meander along Sydney's quiet industrial western edge before plucking out the most interesting and provocative architectural projects and hidden gems in Ultimo, Chippendale, Redfern, Waterloo and Surry Hills.
This is no touristic join-the-dots with a sound track of jingoistic facts. Its an exploration of a city by stealth, the route and conversation structured around a number of contemporary architectural projects, contested sites and politically charged themes.
What Else.

•Tickets are transferrable and cancellable up to 72 hours before the event.
•Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the tour departing; 15 minutes prior if you require a bike.
•Half-hour coffee break along the way.
•If for some reason the tour does not go ahead, you will receive a full refund. In this instance we would notify you at least 90 minutes prior to the tour by text message so a mobile number is required.

The city is our project.
On bike and on foot we explore ideas through architecture offering an interface between in-depth architectural knowledge and the wider design-conscious community.
Each route is driven by certain themes and threads and attempts to decode the city whilst proposing new ways of thinking about and seeing Sydney.
Our tours are aimed at you, the enthusiast. We don't assume you know anything about architecture, though we hope you are interested in the city's underside; in the ideas and patterns that generate.
We want you to get stung by architecture and begin to understand why buildings and cities are the way they are.
